Mr Geoff Deakin

Geoff has extensive experience at Board and Executive level in the health, social services, government and international development sectors. Previously a Managing Director with KPMG working with major non-profit organisations and corporate foundations in Australia and the United States, Geoff also brings international experience as a former Board member of an innovative U.S. public charity, the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie), including as Chair of its Audit and Finance Committee.

Geoff’s current role is Group Planning and Development at St Vincent’s Health Australia and he is a Member of Mission Australia’s Board Committee for Service Impact. Geoff believes that evaluating the impact of services and policies makes social development programs more effective and improves people’s lives.
