It delivers world-class cancer care to all patients. All Head and Neck Surgeons at St Vincent’s are Otolaryngology (ENT) trained ensuring expertise in airway and anterior skullbase disease.

Head and Neck Cancer
The Head and Neck Service at St Vincent’s has a national and international reputation for excellence. More than 350 cancer patients are seen annually at the Head & Neck Cancer.
Multidisciplinary Team Meeting at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre, a combined facility of Vincent’s Hospital and The Garvan Institute. The team consists of a range of experts in Head and Neck cancer surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, plastics and reconstructive surgery, specialist radiology, pathology, dentistry, cancer nursing, dietetics, speech pathology, psychology and social work. The service is committed to translational research and is currently involved in research projects pursuing the benefits of genomic profiling and targeted immunotherapy for head and neck cancer patients.
Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS)
St Vincent’s, Sydney has one of the largest experiences in Australia in transoral robotic surgery (TORS). It was the first unit in NSW to perform transoral robotic surgery and therefore is the most experienced unit in NSW, if not Australia.
We are here to support our patients and provide them with all the information required to make an informed decision about treatment and care.
