About us

Welcome

St Vincent's Clinic opened in 1990 as a joint commitment between the Sisters of Charity and a number of specialists. The Clinic is now a Centre of Excellence, providing a comprehensive range of patient services. More than 300 specialists, doctors and allied health professionals provide care for patients at the Clinic.

Our primary aim is to provide excellence in patient care that includes respect for personal dignity. Our services reflect the values of St Vincent’s Health Australia: Compassion, Justice, Integrity and Excellence.

The Clinic is one of 34 facilities of St Vincent’s Health Australia and we follow the Sisters of Charity heritage of Christ's healing mission by providing the highest standards of patient care. The emphasis on excellence in medical care is strengthened by our commitment to research and education.

We are located on the St Vincent's Darlinghurst Campus in Victoria Street next to St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney and St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. The Clinic provides diagnostic and treatment services to the hospitals, including St Vincent's Private Hospital Day Surgery Unit. The clinic also includes Open Support and the St Vincent’s Clinic Research Foundation.

The St Vincent's Alumni Association is open to all former staff members of any of the organisations of the St Vincent’s Campus: St Vincent’s Hospital, St Vincent’s Private Hospital, St Vincent’s Clinic, Sacred Heart Health Service and all associated services.

The Alumni enables people to stay in touch, directly or indirectly, with former colleagues and friends. Members are kept informed of developments on the St Vincent’s Campus and news of the facilities.
